The Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS is seeking a candidate for the position of: Head of the core-facility laboratory offering electrophysiological services

Requirements:

  • D. in biology, medicine or a related field,
  • Strong interest in electrophysiology,
  • Experience in electrophysiological techniques including:
  • in vitro cell/tissue electrophysiology (whole-cell voltage-clamp, current-clamp, extracellular field potential recordings)
  • acute and chronic in vivo extracellular recordings (single unit, field potential, multi-unit recordings).

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in research using electrophysiological methods.
  • Scientific independence confirmed by the candidate’s research funding.

Instytut Biologii Doświadczalnej im. M. Nenckiego PAN poszukuje kandydata na stanowisko: post-doc

Miejsce wykonywania pracy: Pracownia Obrazowania Mózgu

Wymagania:

Wymagany stopień naukowy doktora w dziedzinie psychologii, kognitywistyki, biologii, neuronauki lub pokrewnej, uzyskany nie dawniej niż 5 lat przed terminem niniejszego ogłoszenia. Osiągnięcia naukowe kandydata powinny być udokumentowane znacznym dorobkiem publikacyjnym w recenzowanych czasopismach naukowych.

Wymagane wcześniejsze doświadczenie w badaniach psychologicznych (np. psychologia eksperymentalna, psychometria), a także w dziedzinie neuroobrazowania (w szczególności MRI/fMRI). Od kandydata oczekujemy doświadczenia w posługiwaniu się metodami analizy statystycznej oraz metodami analizy danych MRI/fMRI (np. SPM, FSL, FreeSurfer), a także podstawowej znajomości języków programowania (np. Matlab, R, Python).
